"We stayed here last fall - it is a stunning property with the perfect access to the river. The views are absolutely amazing. Do no hesitate in booking this unit - it will NOT disappoint. The beds are comfy, plenty of cooking supplies. Bonus downstairs if you have teenagers or young adults - get'em outta your hair - 2 twins and a full bath. The craftsmanship on this unit is unbelievable. We had a ball and will be back! Thank you for sharing your property with us - forever grateful "

"Nice place to spent a weekend, great location, easy to access. The cabin was beautifully decorated, clean, and reasonably priced!!"

On our 3rd annual South Texas river trip we thoroughly enjoyed the Red Barn. We had a large group & need the spacious venue. Terry was great to work with & called to check on us before we arrived & when leaving. The location was fantastic. With the tube rental only a short walk away we did not have to worry about driving after the long evening on the river. We loved the spacious yard & decks not only did they have an awesome view of the river, but it allowed us to spend most of our days outside! Which is exactly what we wanted. We look forward to renting this cabin again and maybe next time bringing our own tubes or an floating island since the Red Barn had water access it would have been perfect to just sit in the water at the cabin! -Emily H. ""What a beautiful Home to enjoy! Our group of 7 guys enjoyed a wonderful, peaceful retreat in Cowboy Lodge. Sitting and walking by the river, watching the surprisingly diverse wildlife on the river and cliff face was a real pleasure. The big living room, big kitchen and the plethora of places to sleep helped make our weekend just what we had hoped for. Thanks! and we WILL see you next year."

"We just returned from a family trip here and it was perfect! We slept 10 people very comfortably. The bunk bed room was perfect for my husband and I and our 3 small children. My parents and 2 brother's and their spouses took the other 3 bedrooms and we were all very happy with the accomadations. Everything is relatively new and clean in this condo. Nice furniture, nice appliances and nice patio furniture. The view off the porch over looks a huge cliff and the river. It was perfect for sitting out there drinking our morning coffee and for sitting and chatting in the evening. The river was a short walk away. There are a couple of sets of stairs between the condo and the river, which wasn't an issue for us. We drove a truck right down to the river with our cooler and chairs and snacks in it. The river was the perfect depth right there to just sit our own camp chairs in and the water was about chest deep when sitting. So we just sat there and hung out all day as people floated by. So nice!! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks!" - Jill

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Barn. I was a little hesitant bringing 8 teen agers and being cooped up with them in what I thought was a two story house. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the bottom basement area was a separate living area with plenty of room for ALL of the teenagers to hang out and sleep without disturbing the adults and smaller children sleeping in the two upstairs floors. The view was nice and we loved having the stairs that led down to the river. What was also nice was that Mountain Breeze outfitters was only a 3 minute walk on a private road to get our tubes and begin floating!" -Amy (At Red Barn Cabin)
"I rented this for our Christian Men's Retreat & motorcycle ride, there were eleven of us in all, and I think I speak on behalf of all when I say this was an absolutely beautiful cabin with an awesome setting. We had a blast and Mrs. Terry (owner) was a joy to deal with. We just couldn't have asked for more." -Lamar H. (At the Texas Star)
"Perfect for a large group. Easy access to river. Very short
Wonderful place to stay while taking a river trip!!! We stayed in the winecup cabin and there was plenty of room for all six of us. It was very clean and well decorated. It's just a couple minutes walk to a general store, tube rentals and of course the river. They even had live bands playing that we could sit and listen to on the porch at night. When we went inside to go to sleep it was nice and quiet even with the bands still playing. Great place to stay and we will definitely stay here again for all our yearly river trips!"

"We rented the cabin to accommodate 9 of us, and I must say, the Wagon Wheel more then met our expectations. The cabin was spacious, clean, and relaxing. Sitting on the back deck in the mornings drinking coffee and watching the kids fish from the dock was spectacular. After the fishing was done, pulling out our tubes and just wading in the river with our beverages and letting the kids have fun with private access to the dock was a huge plus. The backyard was huge, which gave the kids plenty of room to play and run.The cabin had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen, and to grill on the bbq pit. We will definitely come back to stay again. Thank you again Terry, you were great to work with, and the cabin is awesome!" -Mario H.
